mPOWEr patient advisor, Brian Do, is this year’s Mary’s Fund awardee through the CERTAIN Patient Advisory Network (PAN).
The Mary Scott Memorial Fund was created by CERTAIN to provide patient involvement opportunities and sustainable partnerships between researchers and patients advisors like Brian. Having a patient voice is key to mPOWEr development and evaluation at various implementations. Brian will utilize the funds to help organize and standardize clinic-specific education materials and link them to our existing application. While our mobile health application is primarily an electronic platform for patients to reach their care team, these traditional education materials provide valuable patient-centered pre- and post-operative information regarding specific procedures and protocols.
Congratulations, Brian!
